MISSION

A basic overview:

We are the newly formed A.R.A.I.T. (Artist Rights in Artificial Intelligence and Technology). A group of artist advocacy organizations who came together with a common goal: to help protect artist rights in the fast growing AI and technology space. Our main focus is to educate our community as well as the public regarding the use of unethical AI/ML media generators.

 

ARAIT is dedicated to fair and equal handling of artists intellectual properties and creative works.  There is an emphasis on dataset mining and scraping under strict research grants that violate artists and citizens personal Intellectual Property or privacy rights.

We advocate for ethical data sets. With an "OPT IN" model. As well as strict protections for any artist who's work would be used without their expressed permission in any "training models." 

 

Our goal is the establishment of ethical guidelines for these newly emerging technologies image generative technologies going forward. As well as in all other sectors of business and society.

We Believe there is a balance to be struck that allows these new technologies to move forward without putting artists or any other group of peoples livelihoods in peril.
